It's fun to point out when the other side is acting goofy (Lord knows I do it often enough), but we should always remember that people on the right and the left can and do work together when the stakes are high and the need is clear.
And, of course John also deserves big-time respect for matching everyone's donation. All together, his readers ponied up $7,588.82 for Katrina relief. He matched that out of his own pocket, rounding up the total amount raised to $15,200.
Truly, his kung fu is strong.
