Motorcycles and other stuff from a New Yorker living in Tokyo
I'm leaving early in the morning to catch my flight back to Tokyo, and won't be posting until I get home. I'm rather upset that I will be missing the Friday premiere of Snakes on a Plane, and will have to wait until it comes out in Japan to see it. (Nobody spoil the plot for me, okay? I want to see it not knowing what it's all about.)

Tuesday's caption contest results will be posted on Friday evening, Japan time.

I'll see about getting a bootleg on Chicago's South Side if you're feeling to peckish to wait for "Snakes on a Plane" Japanese debut. It's the only flick Ive been looking forward to all Summer long ... nobody does it better than Samuel L. Jackson:
"I'm sick of these motherf***ing snakes on this motherf***ing plane!"

langtry, is it really worth going to the South Side just for a DVD?

Don't be dissin the South Side, baby! If "Snakes on a Plane" was straight-to-DVD i could just order it up from Amazon or Blockbuster. But the best bootleg DVD's of movies that have only just opened in the theaters can be found in Chinatown at 22nd &Cermak. You almost feel like you're there, what with the shaking mini-cam action and the people in front of the camera blocking your view!

What, does he say that in the movie? Don't ruin it for me!
