This week's photo showed a demonstrator in a penguin suit confronting Chilean riot police:

FIRST PLACE: Steven Den Beste (blog)
A march by Linux users in Redmond turned violent Tuesday, and there were several casualties after riot police were called in.
SECOND PLACE: Gridlock
Since the Chilean Air Force began experimenting with the Infinite Improbability Drive, this sort of thing happens all the time...
THIRD PLACE: Greg (blog)
What do we want?

The 2 DVD deluxe edition of March of the Penguins!

When do we want it?

Now!
HONORABLE MENTION: serendippity
More evidence to support the argument about global warming.
WHAT I CAME UP WITH:
International observers feared that the spate of recent penguin attacks could herald the dawn of a new cold war.
Now that's what I call a magnum opus.
With Petey the "Don't Go in the Water Right After Eating" Penguin out of the way, Chile's shock troops quickly seized control of the entire Island of Misfit Mascots.
Congratulations to Steven Den Beste on his first contest win, and thanks to everyone who entered. The next contest will be up Tuesday as usual, so for now, just chill.
